Answering My Own Questions

Remember this? Well, since I asked those questions to those who wanted to be interviewed, I decided it’s only fair that I answer them myself. So read on for the only Q + A created entirely by myself.

If you could pull off any hair style, what would you choose? I think it would just be a better kept version of my own hair, perhaps with some interesting shades and colors added.

What do you think is the greatest invention of the past 50 years? I would have to say the internet, because it has certainly changed my life more than any other invention I can think of.

Who is your hero? I have a number of people I hold in high regard, and I really can’t narrow it down to even a few people.

Do you have a favorite fairytale? The seven swan princes is definitely the one I enjoy the most.

What do you think would make you most happy with your life? To be able to be with my friends, to have the ability to pursue the creative activities and to be able to make a real positive impact on the world.

If you could eat only one food item for the rest of your life, what would it be? I’d have to say icecream. It’s just about the perfect food.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you choose to go and why? I would definitely go to Georgia to be with Ashley and to see Alisha.

If you had only one phrase of wisdom to share with the world, what would it be? “Question your answers, Truth has no anger.”

What is the most unusual conversation you ever had? I think it was the one where Sascha, Ryan and I discussed the effects of drugs on animals such as elephants (they have larger bodies but smaller brains)

What do you picture yourself being like and doing at age 60? I picture myself being very active and living in a forest somewhere, writing each day.

Ringlos are wonderful things. What is the best way to eat them? With cheese sauce and peppers.

If you were to rob a bank, what would you choose to wear? I would wear full body armour in case the cops arrived, and a cape in case there are children in the area and I need to show them that I’m helping society by robbing from the rich like a good super hero.

It’s pouring rain, you are in the middle of a field and you have no umbrella. What do you do? I run to shelter after enjoying the rain for a while.

What is your ideal career? It would definitely be writing.

You have 3 days left to live, $30 and a bike. How do you spend you last days? I would bike to the airport, buy some flowers and then hijack a plane to fly to Georgia. 😉

Is there any book you’ve read that has had the most impact on your life? I think the short story collections by Charles de Lint definitely have in recent years, though The Silmarillion by Tolkien was an early influence.

What is your favorite type of flooring (carpet, hardwood, tiles, etc.)? Definitely hardwood and good carpet.

I have a clothes pin sitting in front of me. I know they can be very useful. What is the best use of one, in your opinion? Keeping chip bags closed so that they won’t go stale.

Given unlimited skill and resources, what would you do with your life? I would travel the world and write, of course bringing along any friends who want to join me.

If you could set the bill and venue of a concert you’d attend, where would it be and what 3 acts would play? It would be on Lemmon Hill (because I think it’d be really awesome to see a concert down the road, and because it would be a great fund raiser for the Lemmon Hill Sports Association) and Poe, Collective Soul and The Thorns would perform.

Can you tell me of some good places to eat? The Chow Family resturant in Truro.

What are your goals in life? To change the world.

Have you met any celebrities? Are there any you would like to meet? I’ve met Buck 65 and Deidre from Strawberry. I would love to meet Poe, Matthew Sweet and Ed Roland.

If you read the paper, what sections do you look at? I look at the entire paper, read the headlines and go more indepth if something interests me.

If you could be a teacher of any one topic, what would you teach? Life

We all made interesting crafts when we were kids. Do you have a favorite, or one you keep with you? I once made a white wreath that my mother still has. That would be my favorite. I don’t keep any myself though.

You have to make $10,000 in a week. How do you come up with the money? I guess I would have to sell everything I own.

You have to make a meal for a very important person. What would you make to impress them? I believe stir frys are my specialty, so I’d have to choose that.

How long can you stare at the screen without blinking? (come on, count) 10 seconds.

You have to choose one person to share your head with. They will know your every thought and you will know theirs. They will be able to speak with your voice and control your body. Who would you trust enough to choose, if anyone? If I were to choose anyone it would have to be Ashley, though I think it would be strange even with her in my head.

What is your favorite childhood memory? Definitely the time my family and I spent an entire summer on a road trip across North America.

What do you think your life will be like when you are 40? I’ll likely have a small but nice home, and hopefully doing something I enjoy for a living.

Do your prefer rocky or sandy beaches? Definitely rocky. I have always loved walking along them, especially the ones in Parsboro.

What would your ideal vacation be like? Traveling with friends.

If you could make a new friend from scratch, what would they be like? They would be an amalgamation of all my current friends, and would be a wonderful, exciting and dynamic person.
