Back In Touch

I’ve been on a bit of a disconnect for a few days, focusing on some pursuits outside the realm of writing. Be prepared for wordy weeks to come. I’ll be detailing more about Wednesday’s protests against Bush, talking about some literature I’ve been reading, and perhaps I’ll even meditate upon some personal goals I have. Stay tuned, my friends.

    1. I really need to do some research on all the protest plans tonight. I’ll detail them all in my entry. I’m thinking of joining the contingent that will be gathering at Dal. It seems like a good place to start off.

        1. I work until 7 that morning, so I’ll need either a couple hours of sleep or a whole lot of coffee to get things started early.

It should be quite an interesting day. I know the protests before and during the Iraq war were quite moving to me, especially the emotional reactions I saw in my Iraqi and Middle Eastern classmates.

If we meet up at the Dal gathering I’ll likely also meet up with my friend Mark (of Shiny Plastic Bag) and a few other people. Last time I went alone and it was a bit intimidating, seeing that it was my first protest.
