From Watchman to Auditor

I got the job I applied for. Yee haw. Or something like that. I’m glad I succeeded and it’s a nice boost to my self esteem, but I’m a bit sad to be leaving the best job I’ve ever had. Seriously, I love the work, hours, pay and free time this job offers. Change is the only constant, though, isn’t it?

I’ll be writing more later, but I’ll mention that I have a list of a few people who I may recommend to replace me (with a reduction to 48 from 60 hours a week) and I’ll contact you soon if you’re one of those people.

    1. I’m still working at this job and will be for several weeks. I accepted the offer of the other job because I was recommended for it and because I’ll be able to advance further from the new position that I could as a night watchman. As much as I love this job, I had to make the choice of new challenges and work experience with a long term outlook. I hope I’ve made the right choice.
