I have been fortunate to hear a lot of great live music while living here in Nova Scotia, especially from local artists. After attending the New Glasgow Riverfront Jubilee this past weekend, I felt I should create a mix of music native to this beautiful province. There’s a wonderfully eclectic music community here, with excellent hip hop, rock, folk, blues, jazz and other genres represented. In this collection are Joel Plaskett, Buck 65, The Sleepless Nights, Matt Mays, Jenn Grant, The Superfantastics, Sloan, Sandbox, The Trews and Kuato.
