I’ve collected masks for a while now and my latest addition is a beautiful purple mask I’ve created a Halloween costume around. Wearing the mask evokes some strong feelings of amorousness and enthusiasm for me; the songs in this collection come to mind as carrying very similar feelings. In this collection are songs by Stars, Saul Williams, Bike for Three, The Crüxshadows, The Polyphonic Spree, David Usher, The Dears, Unwoman, The Mast and Grouplove. The first track, Stars’ “Hold On When You Get Love and Let Go When You Give It”, is my favourite song released in 2012.
