It took a while before I was able to give Xenoblade Chronicles X more than a half hour stretch in a sitting, but now that I have I’m very impressed with the scope of the game. The world is huge, beautiful, diverse and a joy to explore. The story elements can be baffling, including transplanting a city inspired by Los Angeles onto a new world, and some of the interactions can be stilted, but overall it’s an immersive experience unlike any other game I’ve played.
