The Ip Man series of films have been among my favourites ever since I watched the first, but Ip Man 3 is remarkable. It’s a fantastic martial arts film, yes, but it also has a ton of heart. The love story between Ip Man and his wife is moving and the tone overall carries a surprising kindness for a film full of flying fists and feet.
