Saturday I participated in my second Maritime Race Weekend. I ran in the Scenic Half-Marathon and was very happy with my results. I finished the 21 km in 1:44:56 for a pace of 5 min/km. It was a beautiful route, with more hills than I anticipated.
It was nice to be cheered on by my father and Tonet, and to run into my friends Julie and Matt before the race started.
I’m a little stiff today, but happy to have done a strong run. Next year I move on to the marathon.
