I continued my play through of Pokémon Crystal on two flights and some long journeys through heavy traffic. The game continued to be engaging and I was able to make my way through Johto, collecting the 8 badges and besting the elite four. I then played through the first two gyms in Kanto. I’ll likely play during my flights home and be done.

On my flights home from the Philippines I finished my replay of Pokémon Crystal, at least for the foreseeable future. I played through collecting the Kanto badges and capturing Celebi and called it done. There is a lot more I could go back to do, like catching the remaining legendary Pokémon and completing the Pokedex. The game really is rich in content and I’m glad I revisited it.
