The release of Mario Kart Tour received decidedly mixed reviews, but I have been enjoying it and playing a bit each day. The game looks great and has very good touch controls, and it does feel like a Mario Kart game. The monetization strategy is misguided and not player-friendly, and that’s definitely a strike against the game. It is, however, still a fun experience without purchasing anything.
