Since October I’ve been enjoying listening to episodes of the fascinating Dolly Parton’s America. I think it does an admirable job of detailing a very complicated intersection of admiration and disappointment.

Since October I’ve been enjoying listening to episodes of the fascinating Dolly Parton’s America. Each episode dives into how people relate to Dolly and her own perspectives on her life and the world. The exploration goes to some troubling places, and some inspiring ones, and I think it does an admirable job of detailing a very complicated intersection of admiration and disappointment.
