In late November the three volumes of Naru Narumi’s Ms. Koizumi Loves Ramen Noodles were on sale for 60% off, so I decided to check them out only knowing that I too love ramen. I ended up thoroughly enjoying the first volume of this manga focused on relationships and ramen, tropes and all. It’s informative about ramen and the culture surrounding it, and packs in ample relationship drama as a side. I was struck from the first page by some really great design choices and how lovingly the food was depicted. Since reading this, I have been eating a lot more instant ramen.
