Link’s Awakening

The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening was a formative game for me when I was a kid and I played it for countless hours on my Game Boy. Before the next Zelda comes out later this month, I wanted to finish the Switch remake.

The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening was a formative game for me when I was a kid and I played it for countless hours on my Game Boy. Before the next Zelda comes out later this month, I wanted to finish the Switch remake.

The gameplay was perfectly captured in the remake but the visuals and audio were greatly enhanced, making for a wonderful experience that held so much nostalgia for me while feeling like a game that is suited for playing now without the elevation from nostalgia.

The animated additions to the game were really beautiful, and a highlight of the adaptation.
