We left our aparthotel before the sunrise so that we could start our sixth day in Barcelona at the beach before crowds and heat made that unpleasant.

Playa de Gavá was beautiful and we all enjoyed our time on the sand and in the water. Celestine buried herself in sand, we discovered a moth on the beach, we encountered many fish, and we kept our distance from a few jellyfish. A picnic breakfast and scavenging for beach glass completed the experience.

We returned to our aparthotel to rest and later went out to Parc del Laberint d’Horta. The Labyrinth itself was under renovations but the park was beautiful and we enjoyed wandering around.

Our last significant stop for our last full day in Barcelona was back at Plaça d’Espanya and Arenas de Barcelona. The rooftop views from the arena-shaped mall were impressive and a fitting way to say goodbye to the city.

We finished the day by our aparthotel at a sushi restaurant, Worldeli, where we ran into No-Face at the counter and had our fill to fortify us for the flight home and whatever sleep we could catch before it.
