Barcelona Visit 2025 Day 7

We woke early on our last day in Barcelona, had breakfast in our aparthotel, and checked out. We bussed to the airport with Tonet’s friend and wandered around a little once we passed through security.

It was a short stay in the city but one brimming with wonderful experiences. It’s cliché, but it would be easy to spend lifetimes in Barcelona and never exhaust the wonder of being in such a beautiful and fascinating place.

I loved how easy it was to get around by public transportation and how easy it was to navigate around the streets. There were sections of the city we didn’t get to visit, and I’d love to return there to see more.

I wish my Spanish was much stronger and that I understood Catalan as well, but it was easy enough to get by with English most places. I definitely appreciated that I could find vegan food easily throughout our time in the city.

Soon we were in the air and flying home. Having direct flights between Barcelona and Halifax made for an affordable and enjoyable transit.
