Ruralsexual?

The CBC tells us that Metrosexual Tops List of Banned Words.
The term, which was coined by British journalist Mark Simpson, generally applies to straight men living in urban centres who feel comfortable indulging in feminine pursuits, such as extensive personal grooming.

One of the people who nominated “metrosexual” said it “sounds like someone who only has sex downtown or on the subway.” Another asked “Aren’t there enough words to describe men who spend too much time in front of the mirror?”

After the overuse of the word metrosexual in 2004, I think it’s time to coin a new term to oppose such extreme lameness. Here is my contribution:

ruralsexual

1. Someone who is comfortable in jeans and a t-shirt and other simple clothing. Someone who does not put appearance before truly important parts of life.
2. Someone who enjoys sex in rural areas, be it under a tree, in a field, or by the side of a dirt road.
