Today I ran down a street light-clogged route as I worked to rebuild my running habits. I usually try to avoid lights as much as I can because they slow down my run significantly, but today wanted to shake things up. What always shocks me is that even with the lights I routinely see drivers running lights with impunity. I’ll keep dreaming of a car-free peninsula.
