For my run home from work I ran the Zombies, Run! Halloween 2019 Virtual Race, Escape From Runaway Fairground 5K. The story was fun and I appreciated the send-up of the awful combination of magical thinking and capitalism.
I was happy with my pace; I ended the 5 km of the race in 26:49, so a pace of 5:22. It’s not my best time, but is consistent with my typical pace lately.
Entry into the virtual race is still available and it can be run until November 11.

I woke early and headed out for the Zombies, Run! Halloween 2019 Virtual Race 10K. I ran the 5k in October and had been waiting for the opportunity for a longer run. Running along the water at sunrise was thrilling.
