Matthew Sweet – “I’ve Been Waiting”

The video for “I’ve Been Waiting” introduced me to both Matthew Sweet and Urusei Yatsura when I saw it growing up. Sweet ended up staying one of my favourite songwriters to this day and I have an appreciation of Urusei Yatsura that I indulge now and then. The song is one of the great power pop earworms.
