I’ve been playing through Metroid Fusion again as part of playing through the stories of the 2D games in the Metroid series before diving in fully to Metroid Dread. Fusion is probably the Metroid game I’ve played through the most times and playing it leisurely for small bursts over the past couple weeks has been decidedly comfort gaming. Though more railroaded than other Metroid games, I find the storytelling in this one to be stronger and thoroughly enjoyed this play through.
