Halifax has too few monuments to comics, but this one for Prince Valiant and Hal Foster was a joy to see again yesterday.

Celestine’s fifth birthday was on Saturday. She went to The Discovery Centre with her best friend to start the day. Later she asked to have her ears pierced, so it was off to the mall for that.

I haven’t been to Free Comic Book Day in years, but tomorrow I’m thinking of introducing Celestine to the experience.

On this first day of Dracula Daily (have your paprika ready?) I thought it would be fitting to take on his D&D echo, Strahd. The Escape from Castle Ravenloft Endless Quest game book was particularly fun in the audiobook format.
