Run 2024.10.15

Once I got things working with the app, my run was fun. By the lake a pair of deers ran feet ahead of me and I was intrigued enough by the story to stick with it.
A ramshackle coastal village made with shipping boxes.

I’ve wanted to run through Dustland Runner for a while, but the app is buggy and its interface has a setting that completely muted story elements while being labeled as for the music player. I finally got it to work for a run, and enjoyed the first mission well enough. The game is built on the Zombies, Run! engine but lacks the polish that app has a d that dampens what could otherwise be a good experience.

There are signs the app is abandoned, so I’ll run with it while I can for some variety in my running life.
