I started 2020 by running a 10km virtual race, Zombies, Run!’s Volcano Race. The story for the race was engaging; outracing the destruction of a volcanic eruption was motivating.

I started 2020 by running a 10km virtual race, Zombies, Run!’s Volcano Race. The story for the race was engaging; outracing the destruction of a volcanic eruption was motivating. I headed out while it was still dark and was able to move through Point Pleasant Park as the sun was rising. It felt great to get some distance in early.

A routine check of equipment at Mt. Archie turns dangerous when the volcano you’ve been monitoring erupts, leads to a thrilling race to escape the effects! Can you outrun lava flows, mudslides, and choking ash and make it to safety in time?
